ixigo, India’s leading AI-based travel platform, has launched a new service ‘Airport Cab’ for travelers traveling to and from major airports across the country. The service is launched with the aim of making airport travel easier and more reliable, with an emphasis on on-time pick-up and avoiding last-minute cancellations.

Passengers can easily book a cab by selecting the ‘Airport Cabs’ option on the ixigo app or website. The cab type can be selected by selecting the start and destination, date and time of the journey from the homepage. Booking is confirmed after completing the payment by applying the available coupons. Customers booking a cab for the first time on ixigo will get a discount of up to 50 percent (up to ₹200), while existing customers will get a discount of up to 20 percent (up to ₹100). The service can be booked up to 90 days in advance and is available at major airports in over 100 cities across the country.

Customers can choose between hatchbacks, sedans, SUVs/MPVs, luxury cars as well as eco-friendly options like electric and CNG. The fare includes airport entrance fees, tolls, state taxes and driver allowance. Dynamic pricing based on city, date and time will continue to apply. There is a free cancellation facility up to 30 minutes before the scheduled pick-up time, as well as a free waiting time of 30 minutes. 24×7 SOS support facility is also available from ixigo for emergency assistance.
