This Valentine’s Day sees the premiere of
Khanikta Premer Mato , a contemporary romantic comedy that takes a heartfelt look at love in all its imperfect, evolving forms.

Directed by Rahool Mukherjee, the series stars Rahul Dev Bose as Ujaan and Megha Chowdhury as Mohona , two contrasting individuals whose relationship is tested by emotional differences and changing expectations. Their performances anchor a story that blends warmth, humour and emotional honesty. The ensemble cast also features Avery Singha Roy, Durbar Sharma, Rishav Chakraborty, Moupiya Goswami, Ayan Bhattacharya and Debi Saha, adding depth and nuance to the narrative.

Set partly against the backdrop of Darjeeling , the story follows Ujaan and Mohona as love gives way to doubt, leading to separation. In an unexpected turn, a new bond forms between Ujaan’s cousin Priyam and Mohona’s closest friend Shreya, who attempt to heal old wounds and bring the former lovers back together. Through humour, heartbreak and quiet introspection, the series asks whether love is about perfection or the willingness to grow.
