The dispute between UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and SP chief Samajwadi Party in the Shankaracharya Swami Avimukteshwaranand Saraswati case has increased. Akhilesh Yadav on Saturday accused the UP CM of using derogatory language against Shankaracharya. He said, ‘One does not become a yogi by getting one’s ears pierced. They ask for someone else’s certificate, but at least show your certificate from where you have become a Yogi.

A day earlier, CM Yogi Adityanath had said in the Assembly, ‘Not every person can write Shankaracharya. Every person cannot spoil the environment everywhere by going as Acharya of every Peetha. Everyone will have to follow those limits. Yogi further asked the question that if he was Shankaracharya then why did you people (SP) lathicharge in Varanasi, why did you file FIR.

SP President Akhilesh Yadav reacted to this statement of CM Yogi. When the journalists asked him, the CM said that not everyone can be a Shankaracharya, what would you say on this? In response, Akhilesh Yadav said, ‘He is absolutely right. When you look in the mirror, you feel that Baba is not there. Chief Minister Bisht Saheb seems to be saying this after looking in the mirror. When you would have gone to the assembly to give a speech, you must have looked in the mirror. The mirror told the truth.

‘No one becomes a saint just by dressing up’

Akhilesh Yadav made a personal attack on CM Yogi and said, ‘No Baba can be a saint just by his clothes. Cannot be done by ear piercing. This is what our Geeta writes. Gurunanak ji has also said the same. Will you become a yogi by getting your ears pierced?’ He further said, ‘Those who are asking for certificates of others, should show their certificates in which institution they have become Yogis.’

Akhilesh Yadav alleged, ‘When Chief Minister Bisht ji has no work left, he has started deceiving the public. Look at their language. Respected Shankaracharya ji has said that even goons do not have such language.

‘Abusing Shankaracharya is verbal violence’

Akhilesh Yadav also wrote on his Along with the person saying this, those who have patted the tables with flattery will also be guilty of sin. When BJP MLAs go out of the House and face the public, the public will put their House on the road.
