Cristiano Ronaldo is reportedly looking to expand his brand into the UK. The 41‑year‑old, who plays for Al‑Nassr in Saudi Arabia, is said to be keen on bringing his hotel and bar ventures to Britain.

The Manchester Unitedhero partnered with Portuguese hotel chain Pestana in 2016 to launch a series of CR7‑branded hotels and bars. He owns CR7‑branded hotels in Madrid, Funchal, Lisbon, Marrakech and New York.

The Sun claims that the partnership, which runs Inverse by Pestana CR7 venues across Portugal, has applied to register the trademark in the UK. The report adds that Ronaldo, who remains hugely popular in Manchester, recognises the strong market for him in the city should he choose to open a bar or hotel there.

His former United team‑mate Gary Neville already runs Hotel Football, situated in the shadow of Old Trafford. Although there is no indication he plans to retire soon, those close to him reportedly believe his increasingly assertive commercial strategy suggests he is preparing for life after football.

Despite already boasting a fortune worth hundreds of millions, he continues to expand his portfolio across fashion, fitness and hospitality. Ronaldo's net worth has been estimated at £1.04 billion by the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, which tracks the world ’s wealthiest individuals.

His valuation factors in career earnings, investments and endorsements, with Bloomberg estimating that his salary income between 2002 and 2023 exceeded £410 million. His move to Saudi Pro League side Al‑Nassr in 2022 saw him sign a reported annual salary worth £177 million, and he has since agreed a new deal keeping him at the club until 2027.

The 41-year-old sat out of matches against Al-Ittihad and Al-Riyadh as a way of making his feelings clear to Al-Nassr, the Pro League and the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund (PIF).
