The India captain Harmanpreet Kaur was seen consoling a young kid on February 14 during a photo session before the India vs. Australia multiformat series in Australia. Currently, the Indian women's team is touring Australia for a multiformat series starting from February 15.

Before that, the captain was scheduled to have some photo sessions with Australian captain Sophie Molineux. The photo session was scheduled at the Sydney Cricket Ground. There, Harmanpreet spotted a young mascot in distress. And she immediately confronted her with warmth.

Harmapreet Kaur excited for pinball Test and asked for more matches

In the pre-match press conference at the SCG, Harmanpreet Kaur addressed that the team is excited for the multiformat outing. However, the Test match is the center of attention to them. She said,

"Multi-format series are always very exciting. We're really looking forward for that because playing T20 and ODI is always great, but Tests are something we always want to play, and a pink-ball Test match is always going to be very exciting."

Moreover, she also added that the team is working hard to tick all the boxes. The World Cup was one of them, assuring her that the team is "right on track."

She even hailed the Australian team as one of the strongest, saying,

"We know (Australia) are very strong. We have seen they've been playing really good cricket for such a long time. One thing is very clear, whenever you go with a great mindset and a good, positive approach, you can always bring your best."
