Zomato has launched a dedicated AI-powered hotline — 89200 89200 — aimed at making onboarding as a delivery partner faster and simpler than ever before. The new initiative allows interested individuals to begin and complete the onboarding process through a single phone call, cutting down what was earlier a multi-step procedure into a seamless 15–20 minute experience.
Once a call is placed to the hotline, users are guided through an AI-enabled onboarding journey via WhatsApp. The process includes identity verification and background checks and requires only a valid ID proof to get started. According to the company, eligible applicants can complete onboarding and begin earning within 20 minutes from start to finish.
Since the announcement, Zomato has been receiving over 40,000 calls every week, highlighting strong demand for flexible income opportunities across the country.
The hotline initiative is part of Zomato’s broader push to expand accessible livelihoods across 800+ cities in India. Delivery partners onboarded through this route are offered weekly payouts, flexible working hours, and insurance coverage, making the platform attractive to those seeking quick and reliable income options.
By leveraging AI and familiar tools like WhatsApp, Zomato aims to lower entry barriers and simplify access to gig work, especially for first-time users and those in smaller cities.
