Japan's QP Corporation has expressed its desire to set up a mega food processing plant in the Yamuna Authority area and for this the company's delegation met the authority officials. Officials have given this information on Sunday. According to the authority, about eight to 10 acres of land will be required for the plant and the company will invest about Rs 200 crore. Officials said that the company management will soon submit a formal proposal, after which it will be sent to the board and the industry department for approval. Officials said that this will be the third food processing plant in Yamuna Authority area. Earlier, land has been allotted to Patanjali Ayurveda and Innova Food Park.

Chief Executive Officer of the Authority i.e. CEO RK Singh said that there was a positive discussion with the Japanese delegation and the company representatives seemed satisfied with the basic facilities here. He said that after receiving the proposal, it will be reviewed and the advance formal process will be completed. Officials said that this will be the third food processing plant in Yamuna Authority area. According to officials, the way different companies of the world are coming here to invest, the economy of this area as well as the entire UP will benefit. Also, a good contribution will be seen in the country's GDP.
