The UK's biggest Sainsbury's, covering nearly 150,000 sq. ft, is located in an unexpected suburban UK village you probably wouldn't have guessed. Named after the 'stone way' of the Roman Road to London, Stanway, located in Colchester, Essex, houses the nation's largest Sainsbury's, which has everything you could need under one roof.

Shoppers can purchase foreign currency, do a full food shop, have their hearing and eyesight checked, order a vacuum cleaner, and even drop children off for some tuition. The superstore's partnership with Specsavers and Argos allows customers to grab everything they need. It also features a Timpson's, where you can drop off any broken tech goods to get fixed.

Of course, the giant Sainsbury's wouldn't be what it is without a Tu clothing selection, and it appears that this one has a huge one. In fact, it is so big that it pretty much covers the entire first floor, reports Essex Live.

The rest of the first floor houses a tutoring company for children aged 4 to 16, and the store's Fresh Kitchen cafe, ideal for stopping off for lunch.

The store is well-equipped in the food section, also having its own bakery, a Sushi Gourmet, a fresh pizza section and more.

And that's not it. The store also has a massive home selection, with everything from gardening tools to throw cushions. Shoppers will also find a range of holiday-themed novelties.

The massive Sainsbury's has everything you need, and more; it's not surprising that shoppers probably spend hours roaming around the store.

And when they do finally leave, there's a B&Q, a Next store, and a number of food spots, just next door to continue the shopping adventures.
