Digital Security: We all are troubled by spam calls. As soon as you answer the phone, there will be an automated voice or a credit card salesman. But this problem may become more serious in the coming days. Nikita Bier, product head of the social media platform

He wrote, “Prediction: In less than 90 days, all channels that we thought were safe from spam & automation will be so flooded that they will no longer be usable in any functional sense: iMessage, phone calls, Gmail.” This means that platforms like iMessage, phone calls and Gmail can also be completely jammed with spam.
He further said, “And we will have no way to stop it.” This means that we may not be left with any effective way to stop it.
The question that naturally arises is that when spam calls and emails already exist, and there are spam filters on the platforms, then how can the situation get so bad? Nikita Bier answered this in another comment. He indicated that an open-source platform called OpenClaw could increase this threat. The platform lets people create their own on-device AI agents.
He wrote, “Wait until every person who wants to make $50/day sets up OpenClaw. Before there was a technical barrier to this.” That is, earlier it was technically difficult to create such automated systems, but now this work can become easy and cheap.
With the help of OpenClaw, anyone can create their own personal AI agent, which can send automated messages, emails or conduct social media activities on their behalf. Nikita Bier believes that if a person spends about $50 (about ₹4,500) per day, he can set up a large-scale spamming system. Where earlier this work required resources and expertise, it may now be possible for even ordinary people.
If this prediction proves true, our everyday tools like calls, messages and emails will no longer be reliable. In such a situation, digital security and identity security can become the biggest challenge.
