The address of the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) has now changed. Narendra Modi inaugurated the new PM Office, 'Seva Teerth', and 'Kartavya Bhawan' 1 and 2, on Friday. The new PMO has been relocated. Previously, the PM Office was located in South Block. What is the PM RAHAT Scheme?
PM Modi launched the PM Road Accident Victims Hospitalization and Assured Treatment (RAHAT), under which accident victims will receive cashless treatment up to ₹1.5 lakh. This will ensure that no one loses their life due to a lack of immediate medical assistance.

Special Treatment Will Be Provided
The PM Relief Scheme states that every road accident victim will receive stabilization treatment at designated hospitals for 24 hours in non-life-threatening cases. In life-threatening cases, this limit will be 48 hours.

The government will bear the cost of assistance provided under this scheme. After treatment, hospitals will submit claims digitally for reimbursement.

Under this scheme:
You don't need to enroll
You don't need insurance
You don't need proof of income

These are the scheme's limits:
Coverage is up to ₹1.5 lakh
Treatment time is limited to 7 days
Only empanelled hospitals offer cashless services
Long-term rehabilitation may require more funding

Announcement for Lakhpati Didis

The PM also approved a proposal to increase the number of Lakhpati Didis. The PMO said, “The government has crossed the milestone of 30 million Lakhpati Didis, more than a year ahead of the March 2027 deadline. The PM has now set a new and even greater target of 60 million Lakhpati Didis by March 2029, doubling both the scale and expectations.”

Major announcement for farmers
The loan target of the Agriculture Infrastructure Fund has been doubled to ₹2 lakh crore. To strengthen India's entire agricultural value chain, the PM has announced doubling the loan target of the Agriculture Infrastructure Fund from ₹1 lakh crore to ₹2 lakh crore.

Startup India Fund of Funds 2.0
