Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie are reportedly considering appearing in a tell-all interview in order to "clear their names" amid the latest updates in the Jeffrey Epstein scandal. The sisters appear to have been stuck in the middle of their parents' involvement in the latest influx of files and emails released last month.

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson were two of the high-profile figures featured in the files, with emails and pictures showing the former couple interacting with the late paedophile. Beatrice, 37, and Eugenie, 35, are said to have grown frustrated with their connection to Epstein and the negative attention it has brought onto their family.

The US Department of Justice released several new documents and images last month as part of the Epstein files, some of which mention both their mother, Sarah Ferguson, and their father, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

This included emails sent by the former prince, as well as photographs of him that appear to show Andrew on all fours, leaning over a fully dressed woman on the floor.

It emerged that Sarah Ferguson had emailed Epstein apologising for criticising him in a media interview in 2011.

Speaking to Women's Day about Beatrice and Eugenie, who now both have their own young families, a source said: "Bea and Eugenie have had some extraordin ary offers to tell their story, from Oprah Win frey to exclus ive Net flix deals, and they know it's something they will have to address at some point.

"It's increas ingly import ant for them to clear their names, but they're still not ready to bad mouth their par ents on TV, espe cially Beatrice - it's just not in their nature."

Royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams recently said that it may fall onto Prince William - who is next in line to the throne - to make a decision regarding Beatrice and Eugenie's futures within the Firm.

Speaking to the Daily Mail, he said: "It may fall to William to make a decision on the future of Beatrice and Eugenie. Neither are reportedly particularly close to him or to Catherine."
