However, many patients have been discharged home after treatment and serious patients have been admitted.


Why does buckwheat flour become harmful?


Regarding this, dietician Ginni Kalra of Aakash Healthcare says that buckwheat is a high protein food. It is important to consume it in limited quantities. People remain hungry during fasting and after that they consume buckwheat immediately, due to which digestion gets disturbed. Experts say that sometimes buckwheat flour is old and adulterated. Many shopkeepers sell poor quality buckwheat flour because the demand for this flour is high during festivals.


How to identify old and adulterated flour?


If buckwheat flour becomes adulterated and old then its color changes. Old or expired flour also has a different smell. Spoiled flour will seem fine to you whereas real buckwheat is a bit coarse. Buckwheat flour never becomes flexible while kneading.


What is the right way to eat buckwheat?


Buckwheat grains or its flour should never be eaten raw. Kutti flour should be eaten by boiling or baking it. Strong spices should not be used in this flour. This flour should not be eaten daily. If you are eating then eat 30 to 50 grams.
