Indian Railways: The Railways has announced a significant update for passengers. Starting March 1st, an app providing crucial railway services will completely shut down all services. The app will also be completely removed. No services will be available after this time.

The Railways have announced shocking news for passengers. Until now, passengers were able to book platform tickets and unreserved tickets without visiting the platform or the reservation counter. If we had a smartphone, we could have made bookings through the railway app. This saved passengers time they would have otherwise spent walking and waiting in queues. However, the Railways will now completely shut down all such apps.

The Railways is now shutting down the UTS app, which provides a variety of services. The announcement of the complete shutdown of these services has been made, and a statement has been issued stating that the app's services will be completely discontinued from March 1st. However, the Rail One app has been launched as an alternative.

From now on, the Rail One app will provide access to all railway-related services in one place. This app will provide passengers with ticket booking, food services, complaints, train tracking, unreserved tickets, and other services. Until now, we used the IRCTC app to book reserved tickets, the UTS app for unreserved tickets, and the 'Where's My Train' app for train tracking.

Therefore, if you have the UTS app on your phone, it's best to delete it the same day and immediately install the Rail One app. This app will provide all the detailed railway information. This will eliminate the need to use different platforms and save time. Now, the Railways have clearly stated in a statement that the UTS app is being gradually discontinued.

In the first phase, ticket booking and new user registration services were discontinued. Subsequently, the R Wallet top-up app and platform ticket booking services were also discontinued. However, those who have downloaded the latest UTS app will no longer have access to booking services. However, if there is already a balance in the R Wallet in the UTS app, it is safe and can be used in the Rail One app. Now all rail-related services are available in the Rail One app.
