New Delhi: Exams are always stressful if they are yours or your kids’ in the house. During the CBSE board exam season, nothing can cheer up the kids more than a delicious meal or a snack that is prepared with love and wholesomeness to provide comfort as well as uplift the energy to study well.

What can bring colours and joy to thier lives is a happy plate full of delicious flavours, aroma, with the nutrients required to balance the mood. They are easy to make, packed with nutrients, and playful enough to break exam monotony.

Fun and healthy kids’ recipes 1. Rainbow Veggie Cheese Toast

Ingredients



  • 2 slices whole-wheat bread

  • ½ cup finely chopped veggies (capsicum, corn, carrots, tomatoes)

  • 2 tbsp grated cheese

  • 1 tsp butter

  • Salt, pepper, mixed herbs


Method


  • Lightly butter the bread and sprinkle cheese on top.

  • Add colourful veggies in stripes or patterns to make a “rainbow.”

  • Season, toast in a pan/air fryer until the cheese melts.
  • 2. Banana-Oat Bliss Balls

    Ingredients



    • 1 ripe banana

    • 1 cup rolled oats

    • 1 tbsp peanut butter

    • 1 tbsp honey

    • A pinch of cocoa (optional)


    Method


  • Mash the banana, mix with oats, peanut butter and honey.

  • Roll into small bite-sized balls.

  • Refrigerate for 20 minutes and serve.
  • 3. Mini Pizza Crackers

    Ingredients



    • Salted crackers

    • Pizza sauce

    • Grated mozzarella

    • Corn, olives, capsicum


    Method


  • Spread pizza sauce over crackers.

  • Top with veggies and a pinch of cheese.

  • Microwave for 20–30 seconds or melt in a pan.
