Artificial intelligence or AI will take over the future world. Keeping that in mind, the International Conference on Artificial Intelligence ‘AI Impact Summit 2026’ is going on in Delhi. In this environment, Reliance Industries Chairman Mukesh Ambani announced an investment of Rs 10 lakh crore in this sector in the next seven years. He announced this at the AI Summit itself. Besides, Adani Group chairman Gautam Adani also announced an investment of more than 8 lakh crore rupees.
Speaking at the India AI Impact Summit, Ambani said, “Reliance’s vision will reflect its strategy in the telecom sector. The aim is to dramatically reduce the cost of AI by leveraging the technology. The best form of AI is yet to come. It can usher in an era of great prosperity. Reliance Jio will invest Rs 10 lakh crore in the sector over the next seven years.” He also said, “Care will also be taken to ensure that no one loses their job due to artificial intelligence.
Incidentally, before Ambani, the Adani Group had announced an investment of around Rs 9 lakh crore in the AI sector. The company is said to be building an AI-Ready 5GW data center network. These data centers are said to be mainly powered by green energy. Note that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is presenting India’s vision on artificial intelligence at the Mega AI Summit in New Delhi.
