Why did Salim Khan stop writing?

Salim Khas wrote many films in collaboration with Javed Akhtar in the film industry. But he himself did not write scripts for his son Salman Khan, he himself had revealed about this in an old interview. He had said- ‘If I go to someone and say that sir, I have a wonderful script, please listen to it. Then the thought will come in his mind that if he has such an amazing script then why is he not making a film with his son? That’s why I stopped writing the script.

Why didn’t you write a script for your son?

At the same time, on not writing a script for his son Salman, Salim Khan had said, ‘I do not make a film with Salman Khan because it involves a huge risk. If the film becomes a hit then people will say that it happened because of Salman Khan. But, if the film flops then it will be said that his career ended because of his father.
