From February 21 to March 1, Punjab Agricultural University in Ludhiana will host a nine-day Swadeshi Mela, celebrating the rich cultural heritage of India. This fair will feature an array of khadi products, handicrafts, clay and metal artworks, organic goods, millet-based delicacies, and Ayurvedic items. Additionally, it will showcase Ludhiana's hosiery industry with a variety of sweaters and T-shirts. To embody the essence of Punjab, the event will include lively folk dances and musical performances by well-known artists such as Usha Uthup, Parvez Alam, Mander Brothers, Ali Jain, Satinder Badali, Adil, Abhishek Manga, Jagdeep Bhullar, and Jagdeep Sanga. Attendees can expect a vibrant mix of culture, crafts, and community spirit.

SikhLens Celebrates 25 Years
SikhLens, the Sikh Arts & Film Festival 2026, will commence its global journey in Chandigarh on February 28, marking its 25th anniversary and seventh year in India. This one-day festival will showcase over 25 films from six different countries and feature 13 exhibitions displaying more than 1,000 heritage artifacts, including coins from the Sikh Empire, manuscripts, miniature paintings, rare books, and archival collectibles. Notable highlights include the India premiere of the UK documentary 'Crafting Legacy' about Aston Martin engineer Bal Choda, the launch of the book 'The Legend of 1972: Life, Hockey and Beyond' focusing on Olympian Kuldeep Singh Bhogal, and the unveiling of the SikhLens 2026 Art Calendar. The event will take place from 11 AM to 8 PM at Tagore Theatre, with free entry for all.
