Carl Froch is ready to fight John Fury on his son Tyson's undercard in April.

Froch and Fury Sr clashed earlier this week at the press conference to announce Tyson's comeback fight against Arslanbek Makhmudov on April 11. Fury then demanded a fight with former super-middleweight world champion Froch on the undercard at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium - and the Nottingham man is in.

"I feel like I'm the chosen one. I feel like it might be my job to finally shut this big gobs***e up. All he does is run around running his mouth," he said on his YouTube channel. "John, one final time, listen to me so it goes into that thick skull. I accept the challenge but know one thing - I'm going to come over to your corner and absolutely f***ing stick it on your Cobra style.

"I'm thinking to myself, 'Is this guy actually being serious?'. He's telling Netflix to get in touch. I'm not going to turn it down. I'm not going to say I'm not going to fight him because John Fury's a big bully and big bullies need putting in their place and if I'm the man that has to do it, I will do it.

"I don't want to beat an old man up. I don't want to start on a 60-year-old man. I'm only 10 years younger than Big John Fury. He doesn't look well does he. I don't want to give him any stick but he looks f***ed. He's 10 years older. I'm pressing on for 50. Is it a fair fight, I think we both know it isn't but he's called it on at Tottenham Hotspur."

On Thursday, Fury took to social media to post a video calling out Froch. “This is the message you’ve all been waiting for. Carl ‘The Worm’ Froch, you’ve got yourself a fight," he said in a video. "Where do you want to fight at, mate? We’ll do it in the ring, under the lights. I’ll fight you at Tottenham in eight weeks' time. Me and you, Tottenham, undercard, eight weeks’ time.

"You’ll get that, because I know you’re a s***. I know you’re not a man. A three-time Hall-of-Famer, you might be all right at 12 stone, but you’re nothing at heavyweight, my pal. I’d laugh at you when you hit me.

"But listen, we’ve talked too much. I’m not gonna make a long video. Get Netflix to contact me. Let’s talk about this, because it’s about this, you know that, and I know that. And you’ve got yourself a fight, mate. You can fight the father of the best heavyweight in the world, the Gypsy King’s father.

"And I’ll tell you now, I will not disgrace my son by letting a f****** bum like you even come close to beating me. You’ve got yourself a fight, Mr. Froch. Eight weeks, Tottenham. I don’t need six months' training. I’m ready to go now, my pal."
