The recent glimmer of sunshine has got us all finally feeling like spring is in the air, and that means we can finally start thinking about our new season wardrobe. Last year, you might recall that the dress of the season was Nobody’s Child’s white polka dot midi, which went viral on social media and was spotted on countless must-buy shopping lists.
And whilst we loved the classic black and white colour scheme, we’re even more excited about the new colourway of the dress that’s just dropped. The Polka Dot Bandeau Alice Midi Dress now comes in pink with chocolate brown polka dots; and it’s absolutely perfect for some spring-time dopamine dressing.

The new version of the £110 Alice Midi Dress keeps the same chic, flattering silhouette that made the original so popular. With a bandeau neckline, fitted bodice that accentuates the waist and an A-line skirt, it’s a dress that flatters all body types and works for every occasion.
If you’re worried about it being strapless, the dress also comes with fully removable spaghetti straps which let you change up the neckline (and the bust support) in an instant. It also features a soft rubber trim inside which provides additional grip to stop it slipping if you’re going strapless.
The bodice of the Alice Midi Dress features flattering ruching across the front and has shirring at the back to make it comfortable and able to move with you. And one of our favourite features is the addition of side pockets in the skirt – because who doesn’t love a dress with pockets?
It’s also made from 100% organic cotton, which makes it breathable and lightweight so you can wear it all through spring and into summer, no matter how hot the temperatures get. If the pink and brown colour combo isn’t for you, the Alice Midi Dress also comes in a contrasting black and white design, with a white bodice featuring black polka dots, and a black skirt with white spot print.
The dress is so new that it doesn’t have any reviews yet, but considering the viral success of last year’s version, we’re predicting it’s going to be another sell out sensation by spring. Alternatively, you could shop the Felicity Midi Dress at Nobody’s Child for £99, which has a similar silhouette but with a slightly longer hemline, and comes in seven different colours and prints.
Next also offers a great alternative that’s slightly more budget friendly, with the Chocolate Polka Dot Bandeau Fit and Flare Midi Dress priced at just £54. This comes in sizes six to 24, as well as regular and tall length options.
