A case of the question paper being circulated on social media has surfaced in Nagpur ahead of the Maharashtra Board's 12th Chemistry exam. Police have launched an investigation after the leak was discovered on a student's mobile phone.

A serious incident has emerged regarding the Class 12 board exam in Maharashtra. The news of the Chemistry question paper circulating on social media before the exam even began has created a stir within the education department and administration. This incident occurred in Nagpur, where police have launched an investigation into the alleged paper leak. Officials confirmed the matter on Saturday.

According to reports, the incident occurred at an examination center in Nagpur city. The Class 12 Chemistry exam, conducted by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Education, was underway. During the exam, something happened at the examination center that led to the disclosure of the entire matter. The incident is reported to have occurred on Wednesday. During the exam, a student repeatedly visited the washroom. The student's actions aroused suspicion among the invigilators stationed at the examination center. Such behavior is generally considered abnormal during exam time. Therefore, the invigilators began keeping an eye on the student.

Mobile Revealed

Following suspicion, the student was searched. A mobile phone was recovered from her. When the mobile was examined, shocking information was revealed. A WhatsApp group was found in the mobile, where the Chemistry question paper was shared before the exam began. Furthermore, possible answers were also sent in the same group.

Social Media Becomes a Hub for Questions

Preliminary investigation revealed that the question paper was circulated through social media. The sharing of the question paper and answers on platforms like WhatsApp has raised serious questions about the fairness of the exam. Officials believe that if this had not been addressed promptly, the matter could have escalated.

Interrogation of Another Student

Following the interrogation of the student, police also received information about another student. Based on the student's statement, another student is now being questioned. It is believed that this case is not limited to just one student, but that an entire network may be involved.

Coaching Institute's Involvement Suspected

During the investigation, the police have found some important clues. Initial investigations indicate that a person associated with a private coaching institute may be involved in this entire matter. It is suspected that the question paper was delivered to the students in advance for a fee. However, this has not yet been officially confirmed.

Police Register FIR

Given the seriousness of the matter, the police have taken immediate action. An FIR has been registered at the Sadar police station in Nagpur. Nagpur Police say that the entire matter is being thoroughly investigated and no one will be spared.
