The Singapore Hanging Egg Chair is available in two colours; black, and natural brown which is marked as a new-in colour on the Dunelm website. Made from a sturdy metal frame with a rattan finish for a more contemporary look, the chair is the perfect addition to any garden.

Although you can pick up other co-ordinating garden furniture in the Singapore range at Dunelm, the Hanging Egg Chair makes a great statement piece on its own too. It’s the perfect size for fitting on patios, gardens and even balconies, with the frame measuring 184cm high, 120cm wide and 118cm deep in total.

However there’s a reason Dunelm’s Singapore Hanging Egg Chair has been so popular, and it currently has an impressive 4.9 star rating from shoppers. One said: “Great egg chair - bought for my decking - incredibly comfortable and good to curl up on - would recommend.”

However I would never have bought it if I had known the basket would be in 3 x pieces. It took 2 of us over an hour to put the whole thing together and then one of the screws wouldn’t fit. Never again.”

And another agreed: “The holes in the seat did not align well so the edges did not meet. However it appears stable.”

But others praised it, saying: “I would def buy again i tried lots were very narrow this was nice and wide good quality material very strong we call the seat the throne in our garden everyone wants to sit in it.”
