Lucknow. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has recorded many successes on the very first day of his visit to Singapore. This information was given in an official statement. According to the statement, on the first day of the visit to Singapore under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, several leading international institutions and companies signed memorandums of understanding (MoUs) with the state government amid official meetings and interactions with investors. On the first day, a total of investment proposals worth Rs 19,877 crore were agreed upon, which are considered important for the state’s economy and employment generation.


During this, the Chief Minister made it clear to all the investors that the Uttar Pradesh government is committed to providing transparent policy framework, quick approvals and better infrastructure facilities to the investors. A major proposal in these MoUs came from Universal Success Group, which has proposed to invest Rs 6,650 crore in group housing, logistics park and data center projects.


In this sequence, Golden State Capital (GSC) announced to invest Rs 8,000 crore for setting up a 100 MW capacity data center in Uttar Pradesh. Similarly, Private Infrastructure Development Group (PIDG) signed an MoU to invest Rs 2,500 crore in renewable energy, green hydrogen and agriculture cum solar (Agri-PV) projects.


Additionally, AVPN Limited also committed to invest Rs 2,727 crore in the renewable energy and agri-PV sector. These initiatives will strengthen the green energy goals of Uttar Pradesh. According to the statement issued earlier, in a meeting with Chief Minister Yogi, Sumit Nanda, director of Singapore-based global investment company Golden State Capital (GSC) Greens, announced an investment of Rs 8,000 crore for setting up a 100 MW data center in Uttar Pradesh.


In the meeting, there was a detailed discussion on the possibilities of green and sustainable investment in the state and various dimensions of cooperation in clean energy based projects were discussed. According to the statement, keeping in mind the future needs, the meeting discussed in detail the development of rooftop solar projects, battery storage and grid supporting solutions, EV charging infrastructure and clean energy driven green industrial parks.


Along with this, there were also discussions on skill development programs to climate financing, carbon emission reduction and renewable energy operations for environment needs. Special emphasis was laid on the possibilities of employment generation through these initiatives. Chief Minister Adityanath said in the meeting that the Uttar Pradesh government is committed to an environmentally sustainable and commercially viable development model.


Investment friendly policies, strong industrial environment and fast decision making process in the state are providing an ideal environment for investors in the green energy sector. He also invited GSC Greens to actively explore other opportunities for project development and investment.


Another statement said the Chief Minister witnessed the signing of Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) to strengthening technical and vocational education at a program organized at ITE College Central on Monday, the first day of his visit to Singapore. This initiative is considered important in providing skilled human resources at par with global standards to the rapidly expanding infrastructure and employment system of Uttar Pradesh.


According to the statement, on the first day of his visit to Singapore, the Chief Minister inspected the college campus and the Aeronautical Center and witnessed the global model of integrated training with industries. He appreciated the training facilities, modern laboratories and practical education system. The Chief Minister held a detailed meeting with ITE Education Services (ITEES).
