Rapper Vedan aka Hirandas Murali married writer Navami Latha in a simple, home-based ceremony that placed the Constitution of India at its symbolic centre.
As reported by Mathrubhumi, the couple registered their marriage at Vedan’s residence, Pearl Fome, in Mullankunnathukavu with only close relatives and a handful of dear friends present.
The Chembukkavu Sub‑Registrar Office official arrived at the home to oversee the registration keeping the event low-key and personal.
Family participation and wedding rituals
The formalities were completed in the presence of witnesses chosen from both families. Reportedly Vedan’s brother Hari, his sister-in-law, his second brother Naveen and activist Shyamkumar signed the wedding documents. Relatives of the bride reached the Mullankunnathukavu home around 4 p.m.
The couple maintained their original plan of keeping the rituals restricted to close family and tightly knit circles. The reception was arranged at a resort in Poomala, with only limited guests invited.
