Bluey has become the number one show on CBeebiesin the UK, with over one billion streams on BBC iPlayer, and soon fans will be able to enjoy Bluey the Ride: Here Come the Grannies! when they visit Alton Towers' popular CBeebies Land area. To mark the announcement of the date, a giant portrait was unveiled of Bluey made from over 11,000 cans of beans; a favourite food of grannies Janet and Rita.

Alton Towers confirmed that the world's first Bluey rollercoaster will open from March 28, just in time for the Easter break and for spring visits to the park.

The artwork was pictured on the park's lawn in front of Alton Towers' stately home. It measures 20x15 metres and took 18 hours to complete.
