Bhopal. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav transferred an amount of ₹196.72 crore to the accounts of more than 32 lakh beneficiaries under the 'Social Security Pension Scheme' in Gadhakota in Sagar district. On this occasion, he inaugurated the new building of Sandipani Vidyalaya and also inaugurated the cultural 'Rahas Mela'.

217 year old history of Rahas Fair

The Chief Minister said that the Rahas Fair of Rahli area of ​​Sagar district is a symbol of historical and glorious tradition, which has a history of 217 years. Referring to the brave land of Bundelkhand, he said that it is the land of heroes like Alha-Udal. He also announced that a food park will be set up in Rahali area to promote agro-based industries, which will provide employment opportunities to the local youth.

Emphasis on agriculture, animal husbandry and milk production

The Chief Minister said that under 'Kisan Kalyan Varsh', efforts are being made to increase agriculture-based business activities, so that the income of farmers increases and their lives become prosperous. The state government is giving priority to animal husbandry and milk production. New 'Yashoda Yojana' has been launched in Budget 2026-27. Under this, now tetra pack milk will be given free of cost to students up to 8th class in government schools. Referring to the schemes being run for the empowerment of women, he said that financial assistance of ₹ 1500 is being given every month to the beloved sisters. The government is also committed to promoting small and cottage industries.

Development of infrastructure in Rahli assembly constituency

The Chief Minister made several important announcements for the development of Rahli Assembly constituency. Construction of Khejra-Shahpur-Mokalpur flyover was approved. Rs 5 crore each have been sanctioned for the upgradation of Rahli and Garhakota agricultural produce markets. An amount of Rs 1 crore has been sanctioned for the development of Shahpur sub-market. With this, farmers will be able to get better prices for their produce and modern facilities. Apart from this, upgradation and widening of Rahli Ramkharia, Simaria Nayak Baheria Madhi (about 22 km) road was also announced.

New facilities in Sandipani school and education

The Chief Minister said that the students of Rahli area have been gifted with the grand Sandipani Vidyalaya. Children are being given uniforms, books and bicycles free of cost. Scooty is also given to school topper students. He said that Sandipani schools of the state are now performing better than private schools.
