Many big changes are going to be implemented in Himachal Pradesh and the country from tomorrow i.e. March 1st, which will directly impact your pocket and daily expenses. The rules of digital payment, banking, rent and even WhatsApp are about to change. Therefore, it is important to be aware of these changes in time, so that both your money and digital transactions remain safe.
Security and strength in digital payments
Nowadays we all depend heavily on digital payments for our transactions. We easily send and receive money through UPI, net banking, mobile wallet and cards. But with the increase in digital transactions, the risk of online fraud and hacking has also increased. In such a situation, banks and digital platforms are now preparing to strengthen security.
Transaction will not be done through UPI PIN or password.
Especially in large amount transactions, UPI PIN or password alone will no longer suffice. This may involve biometric authentication (such as fingerprint or Face ID) or any additional security measures implemented. Its purpose is to ensure that your money remains safe and no online fraud occurs easily.
After this change, users will have to be a little cautious. While doing big transactions, you have to ensure that your mobile is secure, SIM is active and KYC is updated.
Possible change in rent rules
With digital and financial changes, changes in rent rules can also be seen. New or renewed rent agreements may now be required to be accompanied by digital registration. Additionally, the security deposit can now be limited to a maximum of two months' rent.
Also, it can be made mandatory for the landlord to give prior notice before the tenant arrives at the house, so that disputes and inconvenience between the tenant and the landlord can be reduced.
