Benchmark indices ended the week on a weak note, with broad-based selling pressure dragging the markets lower on Friday. The Sensex tumbled 961 points to close at 81,287, while the Nifty 50 declined 318 points to settle at 25,179, slipping below the 25,200 mark. Despite the sharp decline in the final session, several Nifty 50 stocks managed to post gains on a weekly basis.

Apollo Hospitals Ent. emerged as the top gainer among the index constituents this week. The stock closed at ₹7,821.5, registering a weekly gain of 2.7%.

NTPC followed with a weekly rise of 2.4%, ending at ₹381.9.

JSW Steel added 2.3% during the week to close at ₹1,264.7, even as it declined 1.2% in Friday’s session.

Titan Company advanced 2.2% on a weekly basis, finishing at ₹4,327.5.

Tata Steel gained 1.9% over the week to close at ₹212.3.

Shriram Finance also rose 1.9% for the week, ending at ₹1,079.4.

Bajaj Auto posted a weekly increase of 1.7%, closing at ₹9,972.5.

Coal India moved up 1.7% during the week to settle at ₹430.7.

Tata Motors Passenger Vehicles climbed 1.2% on a weekly basis, ending at ₹382.7.

Axis Bank rounded out the list with a 1.1% weekly gain, closing at ₹1,383.9.

While headline indices corrected sharply on Friday, these stocks managed to deliver positive weekly returns amid the broader market weakness.
