Rajpal Yadav’s new loan case and future plans

Actor and comedian Rajpal Yadav organized a press conference in Mumbai on Saturday. During this, his lawyer Bhaskar Upadhyay made new allegations in the loan case of Rs 9 crore to his film ‘Ata Pata Lapata’. Rajpal told that he has projects worth Rs 1200 crore in the next seven years, and also has 10 films in his pipeline.

At the press conference, Yadav’s lawyer made allegations against Madhav Gopal Agarwal of M/s Murali Projects Pvt Ltd, who had invested Rs 5 crore in ‘Aata Pata Lapata’. The legal team says the complainant’s actions were motivated by vendetta rather than extortion.

Actor’s lawyer’s statement

“He had said in the press conference that he never intended to send Rajpal to jail. This is not true,” the lawyer said. He further said that Rajpal had earlier also tried to resolve this matter through legal means. “In 2018, Rajpal had deposited security amount in the court, and was also ready to attach his property papers, but Madhav Gopal Aggarwal refused and chose the path of sending him to jail. He is spreading lies and tarnishing Rajpal’s image. His motive was never money, but to see Rajpal in jail.”

Amid the legal controversy, Rajpal also discussed his professional commitments and future plans. He told that apart from films, he has also signed many big branding agreements.

future projects

Rajpal said, “In the next 7 years, I have branding projects worth Rs 1200 crore. I have signed 4 agreements, which do not include films. Some of these projects are worth Rs 200 crore, while others are up to Rs 2000 crore. The income projects are a mix of fees and equity. I also have 10 films lined up.”

Rajpal also recently acknowledged the support he received during his legal troubles and said that people from across the country gave him financial and emotional support.

“In the last 20 days, I have received donations through social media, from children’s piggy banks to Rs 1 crore, and much more. I will issue a statement to thank them, and want to specifically mention 4-5 people,” he said.

Rajpal said, “I want to thank him for his sympathy, but I also want to ask him to send me my bank details. I just need time from him, but I will return everything to him with respect.”

Talking about the work front, he will be next seen in ‘Bhoot Bangla’ directed by Priyadarshan. The comedy horror film also stars Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, Tabu and Vamika Gabbi, and is scheduled to release on April 10.

Apart from this, he will also be seen in ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ directed by Ahmed Khan, which also stars Suniel Shetty, Jackie Shroff, Raveena Tandon, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Arshad Warsi and Johnny Lever among others. This film will be released on June 26.
