Priyadarshan said, “I have known Rajpal Yadav for the past 20 years. I first saw him in Jungle (2000) and was amazed by his performance. My first film with him was Malamaal Weekly (2006). Since then he has appeared in most of my films. I have asked the producers of my next film to consider his situation and give him more remuneration. We are trying to get him back and the producers are ready for it. In my film, he plays the villain. I was aware of his difficulties, so I kept giving him a chance in the ad films. But Rajpal is a very good person; He has said that.

Talking to ‘Screen’, Rajpal Yadav said, “This is completely wrong. Priyanji doesn’t know me. I am an educated person. I have been working continuously from the age of 11 to 55. Even big people can face problems in life, but it has nothing to do with their education. If I had less education, I would not have survived in the industry for 25-30 years.” He has said that.

Rajpal Yadav added, “I have a lot of respect for three directors, Ram Gopal Varma, David Dhawan and Priyadarshan. I have done more than 50 films with these three alone. There is no question of low education. There is a different motive behind it. I consider Priyanji like a father. If he says so, I will test him as an actor for the rest of my life. But neither Priyanji nor anyone in Bollywood knows the whole story, so their opinions do not matter much.”

Despite the legal disputes, Rajpal has no shortage of work. Talking about his upcoming projects, the actor said, “This year I am working with Priyanji in the film Bhoot Bangla. Then there is the film Welcome to Jungle, which has 27 actors. Apart from this, Haiwaan, in which I have a small but effective role. Also two web series and two more films, which I cannot talk about right now.”
