According to the Hindu calendar, Purnima Tithi will start on March 2 at 5:56 pm, which will end on March 3 at 5:08 pm.
In the scriptures, it is considered auspicious to perform Holika Dahan on Purnima Tithi, Pradosh Kaal, Vyapini and Bhadra free times. The full moon day of Phalgun month will fall on March 02 and along with it, Bhadra will also be there throughout the day. Holika Dahan is prohibited in Bhadra but Holika Dahan can be done in Bhadra Pooch. According to the Panchang, on Monday, March 2, the Bhadra tail will last from 11:54 pm to 01:27 pm. In such a situation, Holik Dahan can be done during this time period on 2nd March.
According to the Hindu calendar, Holika Dahan takes place a day before Holi but this time the first lunar eclipse of the year also occurs on Phalgun Purnima Tithi. There is a lunar eclipse on March 3 and Sutak begins about 9 hours before the eclipse. No auspicious, auspicious or festival is celebrated during Sutak. Due to which Rangotsav will be played on March 4 instead of March 3. According to Indian time, the eclipse will start at around 3:20 pm and will end at 6:47 pm on March 3.
