What is Bhadra, why is it considered inauspicious?

According to astrology, half of the date is called Karan. Karan's number is 11. The name of one of these Karans is Vishti, which is also called Bhadra. According to the scriptures, Bhadra is the daughter of Sun God and sister of Shani. When Bhadra was born, she ran to eat the world, all the gods and goddesses got scared after seeing this. Then Brahmadev pacified Bhadra and fixed the time for her to roam in the three worlds. This is the reason why Bhadra is considered inauspicious time.

Why does Bhadra coincide with Holi?

According to astrology, the conjunction of Bhadra occurs only on some special dates like Saptami and Chaturdashi tithi of Krishna Paksha and Ashtami and Purnima tithi of Shukla Paksha.
