Shortly after the release of the film “Sayara”, Ahan had to undergo a surgery, which he described as “the most painful surgery” of his life. In an interview given to Esquire India, he admitted that he did not want to speak openly about this for a long time. But his surgery was not only physically difficult but also mentally very challenging.

Why did Ahaan undergo surgery?

In fact, he suffered a subluxation in his shoulder during a snowmobile accident a few years ago. Initially he ignored it, but gradually this injury started hampering his fitness goals. His dream of achieving a perfect body was remaining unfulfilled. In such a situation, he decided to undergo surgery. The doctors clearly warned him that after the operation his body would almost reach “zero”. This means that the muscles, strength and stamina built over years can all be lost. But Ahaan went ahead and accepted this challenge for his betterment.

This battle was different from fitness transformation

Ahaan told that he was always inspired by those actors who brought a big change in their physical looks. But his situation was different. After the surgery he had to wear a cast for several months. During this period he kept himself away from the public eye. Interestingly, some fans felt that something was not right. He also asked his mother Dian Pandey on social media why Ahaan was looking so thin. He said in the interview that because I am not online much, he started asking her out because he likes fitness. Fans asked why his weight was decreasing so much.
