New Delhi: The Regional Meteorological Centre in New Delhi has forecast mainly clear skies for the national capital today (March 5, 2026), with strong surface winds likely during the day.

Delhi’s maximum temperature is expected to range between 32 degrees C and 34 degrees C, while the minimum temperature will hover between 16 degrees C and 18 degrees C.

Northwesterly winds will remain active throughout the day. Wind speeds are likely to be 15–20 kmph during the morning hours (0530–1130 IST), increasing to 20–25 kmph in the afternoon (1130–1730 IST), before easing slightly to 10–15 kmph in the evening (1730–2330 IST). The department has also indicated that sustained winds of 15–25 kmph may occasionally gust up to 35 kmph during daytime hours.
