Young actor Ken Karunaas recently spoke openly about the difficulties he faced while casting heroines for his upcoming film, ' Youth .' The film marks his debut both as a director and as a lead actor. With the movie release date approaching, Ken has been busy with several media campaigns and press interviews. In one of the interviews, he revealed that most of the actresses he worked with were totally unaware that they were going to be acting in the film when he put the movie script in front of them.

According to Ken, several actresses were not willing to act in the film even though they liked the story. Some did not respond to his messages, while others politely rejected the offer. He added that he was always honest with them about the role and screen time instead of making false promises.
Ken Karunaas reacts as the same heroines now support ‘ Mutta Kalakki 'Interestingly, Ken Karunaas revealed that some of the same heroines who rejected the project are now supporting the film. He said that some people are also putting up Instagram reels using the song ‘Mutta Kalakki’ from the movie. He further added that it is surprising to see the same people who once ignored the project now showing support. However, he chose not to reveal the names of the actresses who had rejected working with him in the film.

He said he narrated the script to several production houses, but many of them did not accept him as the lead actor. Some said the story was good but suggested casting a different hero. Prakash Kumar , who supported the project strongly and even chose not to take a salary because of the film’s tight budget. 'Youth' is expected to release in theaters on March 19.
