This Sunday sees the return of International Women’s Day, and to celebrate and support women everywhere, The Kings Trust has teamed up with iconic British fashion brand Bella Freud for the seventh year running. To mark the occasion and help raise money for a brilliant cause, the Bella Freud x The Kings Trust T-shirt has officially launched with a 20% of every t-shirt sold going directly to the Change a Girl’s Life campaign at The King's Trust.

The cause will help support women and girls in the UK facing disadvantage and adversity to gain the skills, opportunities, and support they need to build brighter, more secure futures. Bearing the slogan “Give me some good news”, the T-shirt is available to buy now for £95.

About the T-shirt

The Bella Freud x The Kings Trust T-shirt is made from 100% organic cotton, so it’s breathable, comfortable to wear and high quality. It has a straight-down, boyfriend-style fit with a relaxed shoulder and a slightly oversized fit, making it a great every day T-shirt for wearing on its own or layered under and over other pieces.

On the front is the slogan “Give me some good news” in a blue version of Bella Freud’s signature font. It’s available to buy in sizes extra small to extra large with all sizes currently in stock, although it’s a limited edition launch which sells out every year, so you might want to be quick.

Every year during March’s International Women’s Month, The King’s Trust runs the Change a Girl’s Life campaign. The initiative helps to support young women in the UK who are facing adversity to improve their confidence and skills, as well as getting training for employment.

It also offers mentorships, job placements and grants, which are funded via the Trust’s donations, partnerships (like Bella Freud ) and Brilliant Breakfast events. These can be hosted by anyone, and can be as small as tea and toast at home to a full company-wide breakfast spread to help raise money for the brilliant initiative.

Another great cause that’s recently launched is Comic Relief ’s Red Nose Day range which is now available at TK Maxx. This year’s campaign celebrates friendship, kindness and 100 years of the beloved Hundred Acre Wood characters, featuring Pooh, Piglet, Tigger and Eeyore, and is available as T-shirts, as well as accessories like tote bags, water bottles and even candles. All proceeds will support Comic Relief’s vital work for children and young people in the UK and around the world, and celebrities including Olivia Attwood, Sam Thompson and Tasha Ghouri are backing the campaign.
