Real Housewives of Orange County star Dr Brian Herman has died aged 63. His wife, Deborah Windham, who is also known as Dr Deb and starred on the hit Bravo reality show alongside him, announced the tragic news in an emotional social media post.
Deb, 71, posted a video montage to Brian on her Instagram. She penned a heartfelt message in tribute to him, which said: "Rest in peace king. Seen you soon my beautiful man. Taken too early. We really lived! None of this seems real ... 44 years. I'm so grateful for what you've gifted me, our children, the world. You're at peace my beloved, these last months have been so hard for you, as you peeled back layer after layer of identity and ego, you were never afraid for yourself, only concerned about us." She continued: "The world has lost a powerful healer, a good human, a funny soul."
Tributes poured in, as one fan commented: "I am so so sorry for your loss. What a beautiful human, what a beautiful relationship you had together and what a beautiful family you have. May his memory forever be a blessing
BDE."
Another added: "Dr. Deb my heart is broken hearing this news of your beloved. I know you are surrounding in the arms of your beautiful family but am here for Anything you need .. sending all my love and deepest condolences .. may Brian's soul fly free."
While a third penned: "My heart aches for you, but I also believe in eternity! Love is forever and continues to grow. Prayers and loving thoughts for each of you. I am struggling what to write due to my overwhelming feelings for you all. But like others we are surrounding you and your family in prayers, love, thoughts, and hugs."
Deb and Brian appeared on RHOC from 2019 through 2021, alongside their daughter Braunwyn Windham-Burke.
Braunwyn also posted a tribute to her dad on Instagram, sharing: "I'm writing this with my hands shaking, barely being able for my brain to catch up with this new reality. He was an amazing dad, grandad, husband, and human. I'll post more when I've had time to process, we're all here together, trying to figure out how to do life without him. I love you dad, for now and always."
His wife revealed Brian's health struggles in January as she shared that he was wheel chair bound and unable to speak due to his brain cancer diagnosis.
Posting a montage of snaps documenting his treatment so far, she wrote at the time: "A week in the life of a family weathering a storm. Remembering that all storms pass, sometimes leaving devastation in its wake... and we rebuild."
