How to make Paneer Makhani

Paneer Makhani is a tasty vegetable which can be prepared easily. For this, first of all wash the tomatoes thoroughly and cut them into small pieces. Put them in the mixer and make a smooth puree. If you want, you can prepare the puree by boiling it lightly. This improves the taste and color of the gravy.

Now heat oil and butter in a pan. Add finely chopped onion to it and fry until it becomes light golden. After this add ginger-garlic paste and cook for a few seconds, so that the rawness goes away. Now add turmeric, red chilli powder and salt and mix well.

Now pour the prepared tomato puree into the pan and cook on medium flame for 5-7 minutes. When the oil starts separating from the spices, add some water to it to give the desired consistency to the gravy. After this add garam masala, kasoori methi and some sugar and mix well.

Now add paneer pieces in the gravy and let it cook on low flame for 3-4 minutes. Finally add cream to it and mix well. This makes the gravy more creamy and tasty. Serve the prepared Paneer Makhani garnished with green coriander and a little cream. It can be served with naan, roti, paratha or jeera rice.
