Chiranjeevi gets honoured with NTR National Film Award; says, 'Receiving award named after NTR is truly a great honour'
Megastar Chiranjeevi has received the prestigious NTR National Film Award . The award was given as part of the Gaddar Telangana Film Awards 2025 . The veteran actor shared his joy and thanked the jury after receiving the recognition.

Rama Rao was a legendary figure in the Telugu cinema . Sharing his congratulations with the other winners, he wrote, “Many congratulations to all the winners of the Gaddar Telangana Film Awards 2025. It is always a joy to celebrate the hard work and passion of our film fraternity.”
Chiranjeevi has also received major honours in the past. He was awarded the Padma Bhushan in 2006 and the Padma Vibhushan in 2024.
The 2025 edition of the Gaddar Telangana Film Awards also honoured many well-known names from Indian cinema. Naga Chaitanya and Rashmika Mandanna were named Best Actor and Best Actress.
Chiranjeevi’s upcoming workOn the work front, Chiranjeevi was last seen in the comedy drama, ‘ Mana Shankara Vara Prasad Garu ’, which turned out to be a superhit. He is now working on his upcoming magnum opus, a socio-fantasy film, ‘ Vishwambhara ’. Additionally, he has also signed a project with ‘The Paradise’ director Srikanth Odela.
