Monday night will see Liverpool discover their opponents for the FA Cup quarter-finals after beating Wolves on Friday night. Plenty of big-hitters remain, though, with Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester City all progressing on Saturday.

The quarter-final itself won't be played until early April, though, and there is plenty of football on the schedule before then. Liverpool have both legs of their Championship round of 16 match against Galatasaray between now and the international break, as well as league meetings with Tottenham and Brighton.

Arne Slot's side sit sixth in the league with nine games to play and as things stand would miss out on a return to Europe's top table next term. However, it's a congested part of the league table with just three points separating the Reds from Manchester United in third.

A strong finish to the season could help Slot's team add to their ranks in the summer transfer window, with Jeremy Jacquet's arrival already confirmed. Another transfer link is one of the top lines as we bring you the latest from around Anfield.

Three-way battle for Kroupi

Liverpool are one of three teams preparing to do battle for Eli Junior Kroupi, according to reports in France. The French Under-21 striker joined Bournemouth for a reported £12million in 2025 but a fast start has seen suggestions it could take as much as £80m for the Cherries to part ways with him.

Kroupi scored 22 times in Ligue 2 last season to help Lorient win promotion to the top flight. Despite not always being a regular starter for Bournemouth this term he has scored eight Premier League goals - averaging one every 133 minutes.

This has alerted Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain, according to Telefoot, with the European giants tipped to rival Liverpool for the 19-year-old's signature. Speaking to the same publication, the striker indicated a desire to play for clubs at the highest level of football.

"I had dreams of winning the Ballon d’Or, of playing for the biggest clubs in the world, but they aren’t really dreams anymore, rather objectives because I know that I can make them a reality," he said. "I’m now working to get to where I want to be."

Osimhen fires timely warning

Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen believes the Turkish side can stun Liverpool in the Champions League for the second time this season. The Nigeria international scored the winner from the penalty spot when the teams met in September and also helped his team claim an extra-time victory over Juventus in the knock-out play-offs.

Osimhen was on target again over the weekend, scoring the only goal of the game as Gala won at Besiktas despite a Leroy Sane red card. The win keeps their cushion over closest challengers Fenerbahce in the league and Osimhen believes another big result is possible on Tuesday as long as they are careful.

"We're showing unity. We need to take it game by game," the former Napoli star said after the latest win. "This win will give us strength. We need to keep our feet on the ground.

"Liverpool are a very big team. We'll be playing at home. If we are careful, we can do well, even if it's not easy. All matches in the Champions League are tough. We will fight to do well."
