Now you will not be able to withdraw more than ₹ 50,000 cash in a day on some selected cards. What is the new rule? (Understand according to the card)The bank has set different limits for different card categories:Platinum Debit Card: The daily cash withdrawal limit for Platinum Debit Card holders of PNB has now been fixed at ₹50,000. At the same time, the spending limit for POS or online shopping will be up to ₹ 1,25,000. Classic Debit Card: For classic card users, the cash withdrawal limit has been fixed at ₹ 25,000 and daily shopping limit has been fixed at ₹ 60,000. Business Debit Card: For business card holders, the cash withdrawal limit has been fixed at ₹ 1,00,000 and for POS/e-commerce, a larger limit of up to ₹ 3,00,000 has been given. Why did the bank take this decision? (The Reason) Mainly two big reasons are being given by PNB behind this change: Cyber ​​security and control on fraud: To reduce the huge financial loss to the customer in case of card cloning and fraud, the bank has ‘customized’ the transaction limit. Promotion of Digital India: The bank wants people to use digital payment modes like UPI, net banking and POS more instead of cash withdrawal. How to change Own transaction limit? The good thing is that the bank has also given the facility to the customers to manage their own limit. If you want to increase or decrease your limit, then: PNB One App: Through the PNB One mobile app, you can set your limit by going to the ‘Debit Card’ section. Internet Banking: Changes can also be made by logging in to the official website of the bank. ATM: You can also update your daily limits by visiting the PNB ATM. Note: The bank has suggested that for security reasons, customers should keep the limit set as per their need and when not in use, the card should be deleted. Should be kept in ‘Off’ mode.
