Arsenal are set to discover their FA Cup quarter-final opponents this evening following their hard-fought 2-1 victory over Mansfield Town.

The Gunners are looking to book a second trip to Wembley for the semi-finals after already reaching the Carabao Cup final where they will face Manchester City later this month.

There are a number of big-name sides still in the FA Cup and there is also lower-league opposition who have made a habit of upsetting the odds in this year's competition.

In a dream scenario, Arsenal would square off against Port Vale at home following the League One outfit's 1-0 triumph over Sunderland.

That tie still won't be easy but you would like to think the Gunners possess enough quality to get the job done, even if they were to rotate.

Playing Port Vale away wouldn't be the worst tie but Bristol City and Sunderland are living proof that a trip to the Potteries is far from straightforward if you are not at the top of your game.

Southampton, as a Championship side, would also be another decent draw though the Saints are much-improved under German boss Tonda Eckert as they continue their pursuit of a play-off position.

Leeds at home also wouldn't be the worst draw in the world, though the Whites will be bang up for securing a trip to Wembley.

Arsenal have scored nine goals across two matches against Daniel Farke's team this season, so Arsenal will fancy their chances of taking care of business against Leeds if they are paired with their Premier League counterparts.

Manchester City, either at home or away, would be the worst possible draw while Arsenal will also be keen to avoid Liverpool as they were winless in their two Premier League matches against the Reds this term.

If the Gunners were to be paired with title rivals City, it means they would face them three times in a matter of weeks, which could have some psychological bearing on the title race.

Chelsea, on paper, would be a tough draw but Arsenal have a great record against the Blues, who they have not lose to since August 2021.

West Ham or Brentford would be credible opponents but the Bees took points off the Gunners last month at the Gtech and the Hammers are a team reborn under Nuno Espirito Santo.
