The special thing is that making sprouted moong salad is very easy and it does not take much time to make it. This salad prepared with fresh sprouted moong, vegetables and mild spices tastes great too. You can eat it for breakfast, lunch or even as a healthy evening snack.



  • 1 cup sprouted moong (sprouted green moong)

  • 1 finely chopped tomato

  • 1 finely chopped onion

  • 1 small chopped cucumber

  • 1 green chilli finely chopped

  • 1 tsp lemon juice

  • 1/2 tsp black salt

  • 1/2 tsp chaat masala

  • salt as per taste

  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped coriander

If you do not already have sprouted moong, you can also prepare it at home. For this, soak green moong in water overnight. In the morning, drain the water and tie the moong in a clean cloth or keep it covered. In about 24 hours, small sprouts will emerge from the moong and it will be ready to make salad.


Salad preparation method

To make sprouted moong salad, first wash the sprouted moong thoroughly. Now put sprouted moong in a big bowl and add finely chopped tomato, onion, cucumber and green chilli to it.

After this add black salt, common salt and chaat masala. Now add fresh lemon juice on top and mix all the ingredients well so that the spices get mixed well in every part.

Finally, add finely chopped coriander over the salad and mix gently. Your healthy and tasty sprouted moong salad is ready. Serve it immediately so that its taste and freshness remain intact.
