Vishwak Sen and Kayadu Lohar starrer ‘Funky’ was released in theatres on February 13, 2026. Directed by KV Anudeep, the movie is a comedy-drama that revolves around the world of cinema. Now the movie is set to make it digitial debut.



‘Funky’ OTT release detailsFans who missed the movie during its streaming release can soon watch it online. The movie is set to release on the OTT giant, Netflix. The film will begin streaming from March 13, 2026. Sharing the poster the makers wrote, “Emotion leni director, Dabbulu ivvani producer, iddharu kalisthe Funky”, it loosely translates to “A director without emotions and a producer who doesn’t pay money — when the two come together, it becomes ‘Funky’.”



The poster shared by the streaming platforms also confirms that it will be available to watch in multiple languages, including Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam.

Plot of ‘Funky’Talking about the film, Vishwak Sen is seen in the role of an aspiring filmmaker. He directs his first project named ‘Funky’. However, he faces budget constraints as it unexpectedly goes out of control. The producer of the film gets stressed and his health issues increase. Due to this, he is out of the director’s chair, and the female lead, played by Kayadu Lohar, takes his position to complete the film. The story has a comical drama narrative and romance between the leads.

Cast of ‘Funky’The movie also features Naresh, VTV Ganesh, Sampath Raj, Easwari Rao, and several others in key roles. Interestingly the has a special appearance from KV Anudeep, Kalyan Shankar, Naga Vamsi S, Harish Shankar, and Dil Raju.



The film’s tunes are composed by Bheems Ceciroleo.



Upon its release, the film went on to make over Rs 10.30 crore in India and later it made over Rs 13.50 crore worldwide as per Sacnilk.
