Mumbai: A surprising case has come to light from Buldhana, Maharashtra. Here a husband mixed poison in his food three times to kill his teacher wife. When he could not succeed in this, he killed his wife by giving her a betel nut and getting her crushed by a car. He tried his best to show the murder as a road accident.

The name of the accused is Prakash Gawande. He had hired a betel nut killer to kill his wife Vrushali, who was a teacher. This incident happened on March 2. A white Tata car hit Vrushali's scooter. The collision was so strong that Vrushali fell on the road and died on the spot.

Initially everyone thought it was an accident. But when the police started investigating that car, they suspected that it could be a murder. Police discovered that the car belonged to a person named Manish Suryavanshi. During interrogation, Suryavanshi revealed that Vrushali's husband Prakash had conspired to kill her. For this, Prakash had given one lakh rupees to a person named Mangesh.

The police have arrested all three accused and have sent them to police custody for three days. Initial guess of the police is that family dispute could be the reason behind the murder. Police say that the entire reason will be known only after detailed interrogation.
