Lucknow, Read: Uttar Pradesh has received revenue of Rs 18,412.25 crore from main tax and non-tax items in February 2026. This is Rs 415.18 crore more than in February 2025. This information was given by Finance and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Suresh Kumar Khanna on Monday.

The Finance Minister said that in February 2025, revenue of Rs 17,997.07 crore was received from these items, whereas in February this year it increased to Rs 18,412.25 crore. In the current financial year 2025-26, a total of Rs 1,96,653.27 crore has been received as tax revenue till February, which is 73.2 percent of the set target.

He said that under GST, revenue of Rs 7,202.36 crore was received in February 2026, whereas it was Rs 6,847.67 crore in February 2025. Rs 2,525.87 crore was received from VAT in February 2026, which was Rs 2,530.76 crore in February last year.

Similarly, revenue of Rs 4,503.68 crore was received under excise head in February 2026, whereas it was Rs 4,928.72 crore in February 2025. Minister Suresh Khanna said that Rs 2,731.95 crore was received from the stamp and registration item in February 2026, which is more than Rs 2,305.25 crore in February last year. Revenue from transport head was Rs 1,076.38 crore in February 2026, while it was Rs 923.40 crore in February 2025. At the same time, Rs 372.01 crore was received from geology and mining, the main item of non-tax revenue, in February 2026, which was Rs 461.27 crore in the same period last year.

He said that till February in the current financial year, Rs 1,03,767.62 crore (65 percent) has been received under state tax against the target of Rs 1,59,695.88 crore.

Against the target of Rs 57,500 crore, Rs 48,452.85 crore (84.3 percent) has been recovered from the excise head. In the stamp and registration item, revenue of Rs 29,869.75 crore (85.9 percent) has been received against the target of Rs 34,753 crore and in the transport item, revenue of Rs 11,139.77 crore (88 percent) has been received against the target of Rs 12,664.40 crore.
