Badshah also requested forgiveness from the public, asking people to consider him “a son of Haryana.” He further confirmed that the controversial song would be removed from all platforms.

However, Sona Mohapatra was not convinced by his apology and took to social media to criticise him. Reacting strongly to the controversy, the singer questioned his intent and called out the mindset behind creating such content. She urged him to “grow a brain,” expressing disappointment over the lyrics and their impact on audiences.
