What you need to know

If you're an undergraduate, graduate, Ph.D., or law student, 18 or older by January 1, 2026, be enrolled in or accepted into an accredited institution by August 30, 2026, and eligible to work in the US you're set.
You'll dive into research, draft reports, attend meetings with mentors at NGOs or think tanks, and get paid: $12,000 for full-time or $6,000 for part-time roles.
The program runs June through August and prefers folks who can be there in person.

How to apply

You can apply for up to two positions at google.com/policyfellowship/usa. Applications are reviewed as they come in, so don't wait around!
International students must be eligible and authorized to work in the host country and must independently verify any required work authorization or documentation.
If making an impact on tech policy sounds exciting, this is a solid way to start building your network and skills.
