This isn't a one-off: ED's actions are part of a much larger probe sparked by complaints from major banks about ₹11,000 crore in public funds turning into bad loans.
With this latest provisional attachment, total assets attached in the case now top ₹16,000 crore, including land, deposits, and company shares.
The ED also alleges funds were fraudulently routed through Yes Bank against rules, and investigations are ongoing.
