New Delhi: Punjab Kings, runners-up of the last edition of Indian Premier League (IPL), have unveiled their new match jersey ahead of the 2026 edition. The new jersey is presented with a fresh design, following the traditional red and blue brand colours  which represents the exact nature of the franchise.

Punjab suffered a narrow loss against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) last season to end up as the runners-up in 2025 edition. Meanwhile, the jersey was unveiled on Thursday and showcased the magnificence of the franchise which includes energy, pride and fearless attitude which has developed them into a strong team in the event.

Earlier on Thursday, Punjab Kings, on their official X handle, unveiled the jersey with skipper Shreyas Iyer featuring in it. The message of ‘Our Sarpanch is ready. Punjab is ready’ clearly depicted their willingness and commitment towards earning the trophy this season, which they could not do in the last season.

In the new jersey, their is a different pattern which starts with with the lion motif at the centre, the symbol of the franchise, and then transitions into diamond-shaped elements across the fabric. The design captures the journey of the team and its players. The jersey will make its on-field debut during the IPL 2026 season.

Punjab Kings delivered a sensational performance in IPL 2025, finishing top of the table in the league stage and reaching the final for the first time in 11 years under skipper Shreyas Iyer. Despite a dominant season (9 wins, 4 losses), Ounjab unfortunately failed to pull off things in the finale against the RCB and they would be aiming at winning their maiden trophy this season.
