New Delhi: Rashmika Mandanna is all set to shake things up on the big screen with Cocktail 2, the much-awaited follow-up to the 2012 hit Cocktail. The makers have locked June 19, 2026, as the release date for the film, promising a fresh mix of romance, drama and glamour.

Along with the announcement, Rashmika has also teased fans with the first posters and a special update on when the full first look will be out. With Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon joining her in the lead cast, the film is already creating buzz among movie lovers.

Directed by Homi Adajania and produced by Maddock Films, Cocktail 2 brings together a starry trio – Rashmika Mandanna, Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon. The film will hit theatres on June 19, 2026. Backed by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films, the movie aims to carry forward the legacy of the original Cocktail, which starred Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone and Diana Penty and was also directed by Adajania.

Rashmika recently took to Instagram to share the first posters of Cocktail 2, giving fans a sneak peek into the world of the film and the looks of the lead actors. In her post, she also revealed that the first look of the movie will be unveiled on March 18. The posters have already started building curiosity, as fans are eager to see how this new story will connect emotionally and visually with the spirit of the 2012 film.

The announcement comes soon after Rashmika’s wedding to Vijay Deverakonda in Udaipur, which was followed by a grand reception in Hyderabad. The Cocktail 2 team was very much a part of the celebrations – Kriti Sanon, director Homi Adajania, and Maddock Films head Dinesh Vijan, along with his wife Pramita Tanwar, attended the star-studded event on March 4. Their presence underlined the close bond the actress shares with her latest film’s team.

Cocktail 2 also marks the second collaboration between Shahid Kapoor and Kriti Sanon after their 2024 film Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya. With a proven on-screen pairing, a hit director returning to his beloved title, and Rashmika joining the mix, expectations from Cocktail 2 are running high. Fans now have their eyes set on March 18 for the first look, and June 19, 2026, when this new-age cocktail will finally be served in cinemas.
